More than 20 teenage journalists organized two awareness and reporting campaigns entitled “Corruption - NO” in Osh and Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan this fall, using the hard-hitting journalism skills they acquired from training in the summer and fall as part of a joint OSCE-IATP project. The group published three articles, prepared a radio spot, and gave a press conference at Akipress in Bishkek (www.akipress.kg), Kyrgyzstan’s leading online news agency, reporting the campaigns’ outcomes. Meanwhile, they continued to update the Nasha Versia online journal (www.nashaversia.net) with articles on critical social themes.
