For the last few months, IATP had been focusing on helping disabled people to integrate into society in cooperation with local nongovernmental organizations. In July, IATP sponsored an international online forum on problems facing disabled people, provided a series of trainings for ten members of the Disabled Women’s Association in Siyazan and hosted a series of seminars in Imishli and Ali Bayramli.

For the last few months, IATP had been focusing on helping disabled people to integrate into society in cooperation with local nongovernmental organizations. In July, IATP sponsored an international online forum on problems facing disabled people, provided a series of trainings for ten members of the Disabled Women’s Association in Siyazan and hosted a series of seminars in Imishli and Ali Bayramli.
In July, IATP centers throughout Ukraine hosted a series of events for support of disabled citizens. The network of IATP centers supports disabled people’s initiatives and contributes to their personal and professional development by providing free trainings on IT use for NGO staff and disabled people, providing a free Web hosting platform for disabled people to spread ideas and establish connections with Ukrainian and foreign partners, and by hosting online discussions addressing the issues and challenges facing disabled people in Ukraine.

An IATP co-organized event on May 15 at the Renaissance Hotel in Atyrau, Kazakhstan, over 400 leaders of local disabled organizations, NGOs, city and regional government officals, healthcare workers, city and regional members of parliament, and journalists discussed ways to using information technology to better serve the disabled.

Disabled IATP user Parviz Heydarov, who is the chair of the nongovernmental organization Parallax, created his own website after completing mobile training courses on photo editing and Web design conducted by IATP administrator Azer Kerimov from March 12 to 30.
The website contains information about Heydarov’s life and activities; his articles on economic development issues, a photo gallery, and a page dedicated to the NGO Parallax. In addition to creating the website, Heydarov participated as a guest speaker in IATP’s online forum conducted from April 10 to 20 and shared his opinions with fellow citizens on the problems and perspectives of doing business in Azerbaijan.
